Our Background
Poise Publishing was founded by Alexandra Truta, the Co-Founder & Former Managing Director of ‘Authoritize LTD’, where she has published renowned titles such as: 'Notorious' by Raphael Rowe (from 'Inside the World's Toughest Prisons'), ‘Wake Me When You Leave’ by Eliza Donovan, as well as others. When the time came, she decided to resign from Authoritize and start her own company, one that would represent her professional creativity and innovative approach. Despite being the ‘new kid on the block’, Poise offers a modern approach to book publishing, one that focuses on quality, branding, and growing at the same pace as the book trade's constantly evolving trends & strategies. Whilst other publishers pride themselves on being 'traditional', we pride ourselves as being trailblazing, out-of-the-box thinkers (In fact, we throw the box out entirely).
The symbol of Poise Publishing is the black swan. Like its white twin, the black swan symbolizes grace, elegance, and beauty. But it also represents the darker side of life. The unknown. Just like our authors and our books, the black swan embraces its darkness with beauty and grace.
